GETTING STARTED – THURAYA
PREPAID CARDS:
1) Read the manual (remember all calls has to be made when telephone
has got a clear view to the satellite)
2) Insert the Prepaid Sim-Card
3) Attach the battery and charger – charge the battery minimum 2 hours
4) Enter your own personal PIN Code – for protection (menu, security,
PIN code)
5) Set the time date (menu, settings, clock, set time/set format, set
date)
6) Set the mode to satellite mode.
7) Program the service wanted (menu, system pref) GSM only/SAT only/GSM
preferred/SAT preferred. you worth US$ 10, - of airtime.
9) Scratch the field on your scratch card and dial 150. Follow the instructions.
Please note that you only have 3 attempts before the phone will be blocked.
10) Program you own Thuraya phone number in the handset +88216xxxxxxxx (menu,
settings, phone, own number)
