Thuraya Country Code
Thuraya's country code +88216 has been assigned by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Thus, Thuraya is a new international destination (virtual country) with its own country code. It is now imperative that all network operators open access to Thuraya code, in order to enable their customers call this new destination-Thuraya.
Those administrations who have not yet opened access to Thuraya country code are kindly requested to expedite the start of telephone service to Thuraya from their network, including setting a collection rate for the calls from their customers to Thuraya network.
