Thuraya Easy SIM Renewal…
Expiry reminder messages are sent every alternate day during the 15 days prior to the account expiry date.
If you have the required renewal amount in your account ($US 60), the account can be renewed within these 15 days by sending a blank message to 1511. In return, a message confirms your renewal.
The account is automatically renewed on the expiry date if there is sufficient amount in your account. The renewal is confirmed with a message.
If enough balance is not found in your account, a grace period of 30 days is granted. In this period your account will be automatically renewed if you refill your account with the required amount. Note: You will not be able to make calls during this grace period. However, you will be able to receive calls.
The account is finally closed after the grace period only when no response is received.
Note:
The SIM card has to be initialized (Register & use) within 6 months of purchase. If it is not initialized within this period, the SIM card will be deactivated, and the phone number will be lost forever.
