Organizations with users in multiple locations can deploy Snaptrunk™ - a secure interoperability rack-mounted wireline and wireless multi-line encryption gateway. The gateway adds advanced point-to-point calling capabilities to the Snapcell, Snapblue, Snapfone and Snapsoft units along with additional security and administrative functions. The gateway can encrypt all communications including fax, conferencing, voicemail, cellular, SATcom and interoperate securely with LMR networks while secure all local loop communications, effectively protecting the most vulnerable links against eavesdropping activities

All secured calls are routed through the Snaptrunk™ which acts as a gateway. Snaptrunk™ encrypts and decrypts all voice, fax, PBX and data communications. The secure trunk allows multi-point interoperability between wireless and land-line calls. Optional standards can be included into the system such as radio-to-landline or radio-to-cellular for land mobile radios (LMR).

Snaptrunk™ provides maximum flexibility and security for information sharing amongst peers, suppliers, agencies and/or financial institutions. It provides enterprises with a cost-effective tool with a wealth of uniquely flexible security features, such as authentication (PKI), access control, dialing restrictions, VPN encryption, call destination encryption and point to any point secured communication. This solution can be deployed transparently over mobile and fixed networks.

Snaptrunk™ also incorporates unique peer-to-peer security. Built-in security features allows users to secure internal and external calls over public networks. Each secure trunk can provide various additional features including PBX firewall security, remote dialing protections, call detail reports (CDR), central control of all registered units (Snapblue, Snapfone, Snapcell, Snapsoft & Snaptrunks) and service restriction capabilities. Each Snaptrunk can effectively support up to 1000 users. Multiple Snaptrunks can support hundreds of thousands of users. For large user deployments a telco-grade version is available.
