The SAT-Docker Vehicle Docking Adaptor for SG-2520 is designed to ensure uninterrupted satellite service while using Thuraya satellite equipment in vehicles. Due to the nature of satellite signals, requiring direct view of the satellite, SAT-Docker with external satellite antenna significantly increases reliability of the satellite service for in-vehicle use.
SAT-Docker has built-in capabilities to use all features of your Thuraya phone and service such as automatic GSM roaming, Global Positioning System, SMS, 9.6Kbps Data Transfer, Voice Mail and call holding/forwarding.
SAT-Docker can be used with both Hughes and Ascom dual-mode satellite/GSM phones, as well as with various models of GSM mobile phones—you will just have to change the phone holder.
