The R190 IsatPhone is Inmarsat’s first generation handheld phone that will work only in the Indian Ocean Region satellite footprint. The phone will not work in the Atlantic or Pacific regions when they are introduced. The R190 unit is proposed to continue to work in the Indian Ocean region a minimum of 3 years after product launch (08/2007)
