Globalstar GSP-2900-ST Fixed Phones are the ideal solution for when you need satellite telephone service in a marine or other extreme weather environment, or wherever you need Internet and e-mail access in addition to voice service.

Globalstar's Fixed Satellite Phones offer innovative wireless solutions for quick and easy installation of communication systems in remote or hard-to-reach locations, as well as in under-served urban and rural areas. For the first time ever, a Globalstar Fixed Phone can bring a dial tone to areas where traditional telephone services are not economically feasible. The Radio Antenna Unit (RAU) and Junction Box are mounted at a convenient outdoor location with a clear view of the sky and connect to a variety of available telephone sets using standard telephone cable. Once installed, telephone sets connected to the fixed satellite phone system can be operated just like land line telephone sets.

Perfect for installation in maritime or other extreme weather environments, the GSP-2900-ST allows for mounting the phone components in a protected area while mounting the antenna outside(with a clear line of sight to the satellites). This allows for operation in temperatures between -40F to 185F. The GSP-2900-ST uses the same stick antenna that comes with a GSP-2900, but is modified for mounting.
