*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Belize SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Belize SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the Belize SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.

^Your Belize SIM card does not require a 4-digit PIN code, which would normally be located in the manual containing the SIM card. The PUK is only required to unblock you phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.

**When calling overseas from the United States to your Belize cellular phone number callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 501 and then your Belize cell phone number. To call abroad from your Belize cell phone simply dial 00 followed by the country code and phone number.

Your SIM card has an initial airtime credit of BZD$40.00 (US$20). Additional credit is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers, also called reload codes (NOT another SIM card), in Belize. These airtime vouchers are available in 3 denominations:

Simply scratch off the grey protective layer to reveal your voucher code. When punched into the keypad of your international cell phone the voucher code will credit your SIM card the respective denomination you purchased.

Airtime vouchers are available locally, in Belize, at local Tabac shops, convenience stores, Digicell shops and authorized dealers.

Remember: Do not purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! Your only need a recharge voucher! And your incoming calls are always free even when you run out of airtime.

Domestic rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Belize from the prepaid Belize SIM card while you are in Belize. All incoming calls on your Belize cell phone, regardless of where they originate, are FREE.

If you do not recharge your account within 12-months your Mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The 12-month period starts the day you arrive in Belize.
