*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Austria SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Austria SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the Austria SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
^Your phone will prompt you for a 4-digit PIN code, which is located under the first tab of the welcome letter affixed to the SIM card. The PUK is only required to unblock your cell phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your Austria SIM card if this occurs.
**When calling overseas from the United States to your Austria cellular phone number callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 43 and then your Austria cell phone number, omitting the first 0.

Adding Talk Time
Additional credit/airtime for your Austria SIM card is available through the purchase of a Refill, which is an airtime credit voucher (not another SIM card), in Austria.
Simply scratch off the grey protective layer to reveal your reload code. When punched into the keypad of your international cell phone the reload code will credit your Austria SIM card the respective Euro denomination you purchased.
Twist credit vouchers are available locally, in Austria, at local Tabac shops, convenience stores, TeleRing shops and authorized dealers.

Service Life
If you do not recharge your account within 12-months your Mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another Austria SIM card. The 12-month period starts the day you arrive in Austria and turn on your cellular phone.
