^Your phone will prompt you for a 4-digit PIN code (defaulted to 0000), which is located on the tri-fold envelope affixed to the SIM card. Adding Talk Time
Your SIM card has an initial airtime credit of 31 Guilders (US$17.00). Additional credit is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers, also called reload codes (not another SIM card), in Aruba. These airtime vouchers are available in 4 denominations:
15 Guilders (US$8.00)
25 Guilders (US$14.00)
35 Guilders (US$20.00)
50 Guilders (US$28.00)
Simply scratch off the grey protective layer to reveal your voucher code. When punched into the keypad of your international cell phone the voucher code will credit your SIM card the respective Guilder/Florin denomination you purchased.
The validity period of the airtime will be determined by the airtime value that is purchased. And display the airtime validity with the value (but make it look nice:):
15 Florins = 20 days
25 Florins = 30 days
35 Florins = 30 days
50 Florins = 60 days
Note: Florins and guilders may be used interchangeably to refer to the local currency.
Airtime vouchers are available locally, throughout Aruba, at local Tabac shops, convenience stores, and Primo authorized dealers.
Remember: Do not purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! Your only need a recharge voucher! And your incoming calls are always free even when you run out of airtime.
