*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Afghanistan SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Afghanistan SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the Afghanistan SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.

^Your phone will prompt you for a 4-digit PIN code, which is located on the tri-fold envelope affixed to the SIM card. The PUK is only required to unblock you phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.

The validity period of the airtime is 6 months.

Remember: Do not purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! Your only need a recharge voucher! And your incoming calls are always free even when you run out of airtime.

Afghanistan Domestic Rates

Domestic rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Afghanistan using the prepaid Afghan Wireless SIM card while you are in Afghanistan. All incoming calls on your Afghanistan cell phone regardless of where they originate are FREE.

Service Life

Your Afghan Wireless SIM card has unlimited service life if you use your SIM card even once every 6 months. If you do not recharge or use your account within 6-months your Afghan Wireless prepaid cell phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The 6-month period starts the day you arrive in Afghanistan.
